Using AI to Make This Week Easier

We’ve been talking about finding ways to work smarter, not harder — and this week, I want to push you one step further: If you’re not already using AI to help organize your week, now is the time to start.
This is about staying consistent and in control, even when the week ahead looks overwhelming.
Here’s what you should do:
Before you sit down Monday morning, ask ChatGPT to help you organize your week.
Instead of a messy, never-ending to-do list, you’ll have a clear plan that prioritizes recruiting, practice prep, admin work, and communication — all blocked out efficiently.
Here’s the key:
The more context you give ChatGPT (like your practices, meetings, goals for the week), the more helpful and tailored the plan it gives you will be.
Here is an example prompt you could use:
*"Help me organize my to-do list this week as a college coach so I can prioritize recruiting, practice prep, admin, and communication — and block my time efficiently.
Here’s what I know about my week:
- Practices: Mon/Wed/Fri 3-5pm
- Staff meetings: Tues/Thurs 10am
- Recruiting calls: Need 4 scheduled
- Big recruit visit Friday
- Available work hours: 8am-6pm
- Main goal: Contact 10 new recruits and finalize Saturday practice plan."*
This isn’t about working harder or squeezing more into your day.
